Hey everyone,
My name is Matt Greenwood. I am a proud rider for curve industries. I ride a 2010 Polaris 600 IQr. I am one lucky guy to be backed by the support of Nick and Sean with Curve Industries. My weapon of choice is the Curve XS performance skis paired with stud boy 9" shaper bars. This is a deadly combination when put on the track. It has the ability to carve the turns and really bite when you turn the handle bars. This is crucial in snocross, you need to have confindence in your skis to take you where you want to go. With Curve XS performance skis I was able to bring home 2 championships last season here in Wisconsin. This year I am excited to be part of a industry first with the all new, Curve exclusive, ski wrap. Who would have thought skis could look so good! Stay tuned for a write up on the ski wrap and ski instalation! ![]() |

Here is the finished product for the CurveXS ski wrap! Check out how cool it turned out! Folks this decal kit was SUPER easy to install. It took me under 30 minutes from start to finish to get it applied. Steps: 1) Remove ski loops 2) Wipe down skis with a non corrosive degreaser. The skis are shipped with a thin oil film on them from the factory for release from the Mold. 3) Pick if you want to start from the tip and work back or from the back and work forward. The kit is 2 pieces. I put on from the rear to the tip. Apply the decales very gently and with ease. Use your finger tips to work out any bubbles. 4) take heat gun to the decals and form them tightly to the ski and get the adheasive working well. End Results: |

Matt, those look AMAZING! Thank you for the post and the instructions. These kits are super easy to put on. Another thing to keep in mind is the adhesive must be at room temperature for 24hrs to cure. That means you must bring them in the house or keep your garage up to temperature for proper application.
Just so everyone knows, the kit Matt installed is called "Grunge". We are currently finalizing all color combination's and plan to have our ski AND sled wraps available online mid December. - Sean www.CurveIndustries.com www.GoProSchools.com |

Hello everyone!
Well I just finished my very first National race. WOW what an event! Nationals are something to see if you have never been to one as a racer or a spectator. Everything is top notch and the flow and pace is brutally fast! Teams are super nice and willing to lend a hand at any time. I raced in the sport super stock divisions. It was a very long day. ISOC decided for this event to run both Sport 1 and 2 classes ont he same day within 5 heats of each other. That had my Curve Industries Polaris working its butt off. I fought sled problems all day. This being my first race of the season and with only a week of testing and practice before hand we did not know what to expect. I struggled with clutching, suspension, and brake issues all day. The snow was man made and very wet. Just walking on the snow you would sink 6" into the base. This made for interesting conditions all day. In just a few races the track was whooped out like James Stewerts supercross practice track! I have never seen such big holes ever on a track. Some of them if I would not have skipped over the top of them emergency crews would have been called to seek out missing individuals, SUPER DEEP. In Sport Super Stock #1 I went (8-8), and In Sport Super Stock #2 I went (7-9). It was a tuff day of racing. The snow was very wet and mushy, My Curve Industries Skis with 9" Studboy Shaper bars really man handled these snow conditions. The turns felt great! At intermission I was able to set up the Toe and Camber on my sled which really improved my turning. It is time to regroup, get my clutching set-up, adress my brake pump failure and practice to be ready for my Regional open on January 9th and 10th in Plymouth, WI. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
