My name is Robert "fastpig" Reffett. I am just about ready to start my first season racing in the U.S.C.C. I formed the race team "Reffett Racing" early this year and began getting ready for the 09'-10' race season. I began physical training in February and have dropped 45 pounds! Went from 220 down to 175! I am probably in the best shape I have been in since I got out of the ARMY 20 years ago. Did I mention I'm 42 years old?

I chose the Yamaha FX Nytro for my race sled. I picked up a 2009 model and began researching improvements that I could do help make the sled more competitive. While researching skis, I came across Curve Industries. Many of my fellow Yamaha riders rave about Curve's XS skis, and now I see why. I called Curve and spoke to Nick and Sean and learned more about the skis. Nick and Sean were more than willing to answer all my questions and explained their skis in great detail. After that call I knew Curve XS skis were the perfect match for my sled. I met Nick and Sean at Haydays this year and they agreed to sponsor Reffett Racing. I picked up my white Curve XS skis with blue loops. Nick and Sean also provided me with a set of their new ski graphics kit.

I got home and assembled the skis. I applied the graphics kit in about twenty minutes and what a difference it made! The decals are a nice thick and the graphics matched the rest of the sled perfectly!! I can't wait to try the skis out!

Once again, Thanks Nick & Sean!! I look forward to representing Curve Industries in the U.S.C.C.

Thank you for the introduction Robert!  One thing we know for sure - there is no lack of dedication and drive in your plans for this season.  We'd love to see the machine in its entirety once you get it fully prepped.

Robert has been an absolute pleasure to work with from day one.  He contacted us with enthusiasm not only for our product but also for the sport in general.  We think he'll do amazing things in the USCC circuit this year and anxiously await his upcoming posts as the season progresses!

Thanks Robert!

- Sean
